Canada NEVER had a housing bubble in the past decade!

Great information here from Rod Gibbings; Investors Group!
Attached is a link that I think is helpful in showing that Canada has never had a housing bubble during this past decade. http://www.howestreet.com/articles/index.php?article_id=12173
When compared to the rest of the world, you can see why Real Estate here makes sense. It also shows you why the media are all over real estate values in the world news.
The graphs are interactive, what I found intriguing was to change the dates on the slide bar: Firstly I used a start date on the top graph of Q1 1990 and an end date of Q1 2000. I looked at all the different countries and how they related to Canada, it’s quite good info. Secondly I used a starting date of Q1 2000 and an end date of Q1 2010 and did the same exercise…WOW! Did that ever show where bubbles really were and that Canada looks pretty fine.
It is helpful to let people know that we have one of the most stable real estate market in the world.
