Kelowna markets back up....?

Wow! Are we back to a busier real estate market?
Seems things are certainly heating back up in Kelowna again........ Just in the past 3 weeks, there has been 171 property sales in Kelowna, with an average price of $381K. Personally, I have never been busier than the past two months! Recent listings SOLD this week are: #301 - 140 Asher Road, #113 - 440 Hartman Road and #206 - 3163 Richter Street.
It is definitely a market for first time home buyers, with low interest rates and great home prices out there!
Hopefully the warmer spring weather and increase of Sold signs will just be an early indication of a return to a busy real estate market in Kelowna.
We will wait to see what the March 2009 stats bring, but I feel that generally we are out of the slump here.
